Kelmscott fight ends in demolition derby

One man is in police custody and another is recovering in hospital after a domestic dispute last night in which two men used their cars to ram into each other.

Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the fight broke out at a house on Westfield Street in Kelmscott about 8.15pm when two men, aged 33 and 25, entered their cars and started ramming each other.

The older man then left his car and used a baseball bat to smash the passenger window of his opponent, Ms Usher said.

The younger man is now in hospital being treated for facial injuries and the 33-year-old man is currently in police custody.

No charges have been laid yet.
