Authorities are searching for two men who stole 600 scratchie tickets from a Dalkeith post office on Saturday.
About 3.30pm, two male offenders smashed their way through the front door of the post office on Waratah Avenue.
The men made off with a small amount of cash as well as six scratchie books, each containing 100 tickets.
Each of the tickets was valued at a sale price of between three and five dollars, totalling a maximum value of goods stolen at $3000.
LotteryWest has been advised of the theft and all of the stolen tickets have been blocked, but police warn the public to be wary of cheap scratchies that may be pawned off.
The offenders are believed to have made off in a blue Subaru WRX.
Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
