Police said two of the men wore masks and another had a T-shirt pulled over his head when they forced their way into the ticket booth of the Newlands Road complex and demanded the man hand over cash, about 9.30pm.

A police spokeswoman said the men demanded the attendant empty the cash register into a cream-coloured money bag. The attendant was not injured.

The police canine unit found the T-shirt one of the offenders used, in Joyce Street.
