A computer crash has caused major hassles for Qantas customers across the country today – with some passenger flights out of Perth reportedly delayed by several hours.
A global reservations system used by Qantas went down this morning, affecting passengers Australia-wide.
Qantas has said the system is now back online but this morning’s delays – which forced staff to manually check passengers in – has caused a backlog of customers waiting at airports.
“Global issues with Altea system affecting check-in. Issue resolved and ports will be back online shortly. We’re sorry for the inconvenience,” the airline tweeted.
