A boy is in a stable condition after he was hit by a boat in Sydney’s south this afternoon.
The 14-year-old boy was paddling on an outrigger surf-ski when he fell into the water at Gunnamatta Bay about 3.30pm.
Police said he was hit by the propeller of the passing boat and sustained serious injuries to his arm.
He was flown to The Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick where he remains in a stable condition.
The conductor of the boat is assisting police with their inquiries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
